Batchelor, M.D., Chairman of the Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, and the City of New Orleans, Personally appeared C. Lopinto, an undertaker, native of this city who hereby declares that CARMELO POLITO (White), a native of Italy, aged 42 years departed this life yesterday, (14th of January 1938) at The Hotel Dieu in this city. Resided at No. 2527 Frenchman St. Cause of death: Influenza, Broncho Pneumonia of RT lung, RT Pleural Effusion. Certificate of Dr. I. Tedesco. Deceased was married, to JENNIE DOW, a painter, and the daughter (sic) of ANTHONY POLITO And VIRGINIA PARISI, both natives of Italy. Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid C. Lopinto as also that of P.H. Lanauze And W.J.
