2nd Sept. 1878 Joseph M. Rice, a native of 
England, residing at the corner of Magnolia 
and Perdido, who hereby declares that 

		John A. Rice (white), 

a native of New Orleans, LA., aged 2 years, 
6 months, died on the 1st instant (Sept. 1, 
1878) at his aforesaid residence in this city.

Cause of death:  Yellow Fever
