23 February 1867  appeared Thomas W. Bothick, a native 
of Ireland, residing corner of Camp at Delord St. in 
this city who by these presents declares that

		William H. Rice, 
a native of New Orleans, aged 25 years, died on the 
19th day of January of this present year (19th Jan. 
1867) at Penssacola, Fla.
