R. Olliphant, M.D., Chairman Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths, and marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared L. Guilland, an undertaker, native of France, residing at Algiers, this city who hereby declares that Julia M. Nolan, (White) widow of Michael Spellman a native of Ireland, aged 53 years departed this life on the eighth instant (8 Jan 1895) at no. 117 Pacific Ave, Algiers in this city. Cause of Death: Carcinoma of throat Certificate of Dr. L. G. Lebeuf "Deceased was a resident of this city for 36 years." Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid L. Guilland as also in that of P. H. Lauauze and L. B. Schlbach(?) both of this city, witnesses by me requested as to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me after reading hereof, this day, month and year first above written. (Signed) S.
