M. Crozat, duly commissioned and sworn Recorder of Births and Deaths, in and for the Parish and City of Orleans personally appeared: Mr. Louis Rochelle a native of New Orleans residing on dorgenois street between Maine and St. Ann streets 2d district in this city who by these presents declares that William Stone a native of Sweden aged about forty seven years departed this life on the twenty third day of September of this present year (23d September 1863) at six o’clock am in a house situated on Prosper street between Annette and Anthony streets 3rd district in this city. Deceased was the lawful husband of Miss Bridget Helecston a native of Sweden. Thus Done in New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Louis Rochelle and also in the of Messrs. Paul Emile Crozat, Fernand Monroe Crozat, both of this city, witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands together with me after due reading hereof, the day, month and year first above written.
