Appeared M. Swords, a native of Ireland, residing at 
Napoleon Ave. and St. Charles (Derbigny corner Common 
are written here, but scratched out), who hereby 
declares that 

		Mathew Swords, 

a native of Ireland, aged 54 years, died on the 18th 
instant, (Oct. 18, 1869), at 4 o'clock a.m. at Derbigny 
St. near Common.

This done in New Orleans in the presence of M. Swords, 
J. Sindoz, and Liautaud.
