Be it Remembered, That on this day to=wit the Twelfth of March in the year
of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Seven and the One Hundred
and Eleventh of the independence of the United States of America before me
Joseph Holt, M.D. President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of
Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish and City of New Orleans,
personally appeared :

John Sabathe Jr. , a native of this city residing at No 161 Dryades street
who hereby declares, that his

mother: Victorine Sabathe: born Bellocq (white)

a native of France aged 52 years,
departed this life, this day (12 March 1887) at his aforesaid residence in
this city
Cause of Death Cerebal Apsplexy
Certificate of Dr. O Berge'
Deceased was the lawful wife of Jean Sabathe', her surviving consent &
resident of this city for 32 years.

Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid J. Sabathe Jr. as
also that of Messes P H Lanauze & A A Vonhi?? both of this city witnesses,
by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with
me, after due reading hereof, the day, month and year first above written.
