All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Be if Remembered, that on this day to-wit: the fifth of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and forty-nine and_____ of the independence of the United States of America, before me, ____________________, Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages in and for the Parish of Orleans, Personally appeared Mr. John Tierney residing at No. 68 Tchoupitoulas St. In the Second Municipality, who by these presents declares that his brother, MR. DANIEL TIERNEY, a native of Ireland, aged about twenty-eight years, the legitimate son of MR. JOHN TIERNEY, SR. and MRS. MARY FLOOD, died on the twenty-first day of December, eighteen hundred and forty-eight (21 December 1848) in the City of New Orleans. The deceased was not married. Thus done at New Orleans in the presence of the aforesaid Mr. John Tierney as also in that of Messrs. Hugh Donnelly and Eugene Lawste, both of this city witnesses by me requested so to be, who have hereunto set their hands, together with me, after reading hereof, this day, month and year first above written.
