1844-State of Louisiana, Parish of Jefferson. Mr. Alexander Beaudier as principal and 
Jean Delpit as security, are bound unto the Parish 2 years, of the Parish of Jefferson 
for the sum of five hundred dollars to be paid said principal share contract a marriage 
with Marie Elodie Boutte there being any legal impeachment to the same. Witnesses our 
hands at the Parish of Jefferson this 12 October 1844. Signed: A. Baudier, J. Delpit. 
Letters and advertisements be dispensed with and the license issued forthwith. October

1844, Nov. 9th-Sovereign rector of the parochial church and Cathedral of St. Louis,
 where the alliance accorded by the honorable Pensifor Smith, Parish Judge for 
Jefferson District, publications being expeditingly accomplished Sunday-and the 
parties have ... obtained the dispensation, of the two Gentlemen agree on congential 
matenal consentment, the marriage by proxy [verbal] in the presence of Mr. Alexandre 
Baudier, legitimate son and minor, of Victor Baudier and of Leontine Dufouchard 
Degruy Botte, in this city. On the part of Marie Elosie Boutte, legitimate daughter 
and minor child of Philip Boutte and Delphine Verloin DeGruy, in the Parish of Jefferson, 
landrepart Letout in the presence of Etienne DeGruy, C. Delpit, J. Labarre, A. Bratle.
