Labarre and Miss Noemie Marie Baudier, who application for a marriage license and known them to be above the age of twenty one years. Sworn to and subscribed before me at New Orleans on the 28th day of June 1876. John LeMonnier, Judge. Also signed by Charles DeGruy and John Chevillou. State of Louisiana, Parish of Orleans: Be it remembered that Richard L. Labarre ... and Charles DeGruy as surety ... indebted to the State of Louisiana the sum of one thousand dollars. Whereas, the above bonded Richard L. Labarre has applied to the Third Justice of the Peace for the Parish of Orleans, and has obtained from him License to marry Miss Noemie Marie Baudier. Now the condition of the above obligation is such that in case within two years from this date, it should not appear that there existed at the time of granting such License any legal impedement to said Marriage; then and in such case the above obligation shall be null and void; or otherwise, it shall remain in full force and virtue. Marriage Contract; Vol 14; p432-p432 1877-This is to certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on this day, to wit: 19 May, 1877 ... was registered a marriage celebrated in the city of New Orleans by Rev. J. Subileau, on the 8 July, 1876 between Richard L. Labarre, a native of Louisiana, son of Jean Baptiste John Labarre and Mathilde Foucher, and Miss Neomie Marie Baudier, a native of Louisiana, daughter of Victor Baudier and Elizadie Bienvenu. The celebration of the marriage was performed in the presence of the witnesses: V. Baudier, C. A. Philippi, Gabriel Levasseur[sic]. The License was issued on the 28th day of June 1876 by Hon.
