I, John L. Laresche, Third Justice of the Peace for the Parish of Orleans duly 
commissioned and sworn, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that on this day, the Twenty-seventh 
of June in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Eight, 
and of the Independence of the United States of American, the 102;

After having received the mutual consent of the contracting parties in presence 
of the witnesses required by law, and after having instructed them in their mutual 
and respective Rights, Duties and Obligations as husband and wife, I have celebrated 
the MARRIAGE and solemnly united in the 

BONDS OF MATRIMONY,

Mr. Pascal Servat of this city
And Miss Felicite Raymond, also of this city

In Witness Whereof Messrs. Patrick Pittman Carroll, Paul E. Theard, George W. Prados,
all of this city, three competent witnesses, have signed the present act, together with 
the contracting parties and me, the said Third Justice of the Peace, the day, month and 
year first above written, after the reading of the same.  The principal object of this
marriage being to legitimate Joseph Servat, Michel Romal Servat, Eulalie Servat and 
Josephine Charlotte Servat, already duly acknowledged by them, per act passed this day, 
before Paul E. Theard, Notary Public, of this city.
