This is to Certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on this day, 
to-wit: the Fifteenth of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred 
and 96 and the one hundredth and 20 of the Independence of the United States of America 
(Jan 15, 1896) was registered a marriage, celebrated in the City of New Orleans, La., by 
Rev. father H. Migent [sic] on the 7 day of January 1896 between Alcee Joseph Gelpi (25 
years) a native of New Orleans son of Paul Gelpi and Louise Baudier and Miss Louise Elmina 
Dunbar (22 years) a native of New Orleans daughter of George H. Dunbar and Louise Beauregard 
[sic]. The celebration of the marriage was performed in the presence of the witnesses Geo. 
H. Dunbar, Paul Gelpi, F. B. Dunbar.
The License was issued on the 3 day January 1896 by Hon .......
