Father J. J. Navin, S. J. on the 7th day of January 1930, between Clarence Joseph Gelpi (21) years, a native of N. O., La., son of Paul J. Gelpi, M. D. and Annette Hincks and Miss Armide Pauline Haggett (20) years, a native of N. O., La. daughter of Walter J. Haggett and Camille M. Pichet. The celebration of the marriage was performed in the presence of the witnesses Victor C. Smith, A. J. Gelpi, Dorothy Plauche. License Returned and Filed, Book No. A Folio 16781 Correction to the marriage record: State of Louisiana: Parish Of Orleans: Before me, the undersigned authority, personally came and appeared: Mrs. Aenid Haggett Gelpi wife of Clarence Joseph Gelpi, who, after being duly sworn, deposes and says, that in her marriage license, which is recorded in Book of Marriages No. A, Folio 16781; that her maiden name appears as Miss Armide Pauline Haggett through error, when it really should have been Miss Aenid Pauline Haggett; and that she makes this affidavit for the purpose of having it attached to the orgional record in Book of Marriages No. 52, Folio 415.
