This is to Certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on 
this day, to-wit: the Nineteenth of October in the year of our Lord, one 
thousand eight hundred and the 96 and the one hundredth and 21 of the 
Independence of the United State of America (Oct 19, 1896) was registered a 
marriage, celebrated in the City of New Orleans, La., by Rev. M. Brewster on 
the 10 day of Oct 1896 between Frank Gelpi (23 years,) a native of N. O., La. 
son of Gerome Gelpi and Catherine U. Boucher and Miss Claudia Knight, (19 years,) 
a native of St. Mary La. daughter of Alcide C. Knight and Lucy A. Evins. The 
celebration of the marriage was performed in the presence of the witnesses 
Jules Dejerlais, E. G. Everard, Clare Knight.
The License was issued on the 7 day of October 1896 by Hon P. H. Lanauze, Dy. 
Recorder, Births Marriages and Deaths in the presence of the witnesses C. G. 
Everard, Jules Dejerlais.
