Mignot on the 24 day of January 1898 between Wallace Wood, Jr. (30 years,) a native of N. O., La. son of Wallace Wood and Alice E. Tennisson and Mrs. Emma Beltran, widow of George Glepi ([ * ] years, ) a native of N. O., La. daughter of Raphael Beltran and Rosa Isnard. The celebration of the marriage was performed in the presence of the witnesses W. H. Hughes, A. J. Foret, R. J. Beltran. The License was issued on the 22 day of January 1898 by P. H. Lanange, dy recorder of Births, Marriages, Deaths in the presence of the witnesses [ * ] H. Woods, M. D., Wallace Wood. License Returned and filed, Book 38 Folio 494. Note: [ * ] could not be deciphered. The last name of Alice was very difficult to read, as was the Folio of the License.
