This is to Certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on this day, to wit:
the Twenty Seventh of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and ninety 
eight and the one hundredth and 23 of the Independence of the United State of America, (September 
27, 1898) was registered a marriage, celebrated in the City of New Orleans, La., by the Rev. J. P. 
Quinius on the 22 day of September 1898 between 

Henry Cook (25 years,) a native of N.O.L. son of Matthew Cook and Caroline Rehm and 

Miss Annie Marie Becker (25 years,) a native of N.O.L. daughter of William J. Becker and Elizabeth Senner.  

The celebration of the marriage was performed in the presence of the witnesses Carrie Cook, James Geary 
[sic], Lizzie Becker, R. Cook, W. Cunller [sic].

The License was issued on the 14 day of September 1898 by [illegible name] Births Marriage & Deaths 
in the presence of the Witnesses P. Becker & Paul [illegible name] Sr.
