This is to certify , That it appears from the Records of this 
office, that on this day, to wit the twenty first of February, 
in the year of our Lord, one thousand, nine hundred and twelve, 
and the []of the Independence of the United States of America, 
(Feb 21, 1912), was registered a marriage, celebrated in the 
city of New Orleans, by [?] on the 15th day of February, 1912,

between Joseph Hymel aged 20 years a native of St. Charles, La. 
son of George Hymel and Laura Berthelot 

and 

Miss Lucie Fonetnette aged 18 years, a native of N.O. La., 
daughter of[Benjamin Fontenette and Octavie Legier. 

The celebration of the marriage was performed in presence of 
the witnesses. W. J. Legier, G. P. Menard, George Joubert .
The license was issued on the 12th day of February by [?]
