This is to certify , That it appears from the Records of this office, 
that on this day, to wit the twelfth., in the year of our Lord, one 
thousand, nine hundred and [blank], and the [blank]of the Independence 
of the United States of America, (Mch. 12th, 1941), was registered a 
marriage, celebrated in the city of New Orleans, by Rev. Fr. Edw. C. 
Prendergast on the 4th day of March 1941,

between 

Charles Rene Maduell, Jr. (S.) aged 23 years a native of N. O. La. 
son of Charles R. Maduell and Louise T. Viosca 

and 

Lola Rita Legier (S.) aged 22 years, a native of N. O., La., 
daughter of Octave J. Legier and Yvonne Laudumiey. 

The celebration of the marriage was performed in presence of the 
witnesses. Merill Knecht, Rufus, M. Carimi, O. J. Legier, C. R. Maduell .
