* Rev. Owen Riedy officiated many marriages in this family.  Records show he
was the pastor of the German Evangelical Church on Milan Street during the
year 1872-1877.  These marriages took place much later.  Have not determined
if he was still at that church or elsewhere for these marriages.

** family surname has been recorded as MINNING MENNING MANNING in various
Orleans and Jefferson Parish documents; father, Frederick Sr., also shows up
as Frederich Minning and Fritz Minning

This is to Certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on
this day, to-wit: the Fourteenth of August in the year of our Lord, one
thousand eight hundred and ninety four and the one hundredth and nineteenth
of the Independence of the United States of America, (August 14, 1894) was
registered a marriage, celebrated in the City of New Orleans, La., by Rev.
Owen Riedy * on the 7 day of August 1894 between Frederick Minning Jr. (22
years,) a native of New Orleans, La., son of Frederick Minning and Catherine
Hauck and Miss Mary Fitch (22 years,) a native of New Orleans, La., daughter
of James Fitch and .left blank.  The celebration of the marriage was
performed in the presence of the witnesses John Bouwitz, Katie Hauck, George
Kerth.
The License was issued on the 7 day of August 1894 by P.H.Lanauze
of..illegible..Birth, Marriage, Death in the presence of the witnesses
George Kerth, Frederick Minning
