This is to certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, to-wit: 
the Seventeenth of August in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred 
and 99 and the hundreth and 24 of the Independence of the United States of 
America, (Aug 17, 1899) was registered a marriage, celebrated in the City of 
New Orleans, LA., by Rev. Father J.A. Lambert on the 

15 day of August 1899  between 

Thomas O'Connor (60 years) a native of New Orleans, L 
son of Lawrence O'Connor and Elizabeth Stroup 

and 

Miss Mary Elizabeth Ball (34 years) a native of New Orleans, L 
daughter of Patrick Ball and Catherine Delaney.  

The celebration of the marriage was performed on the presence of the witnesses 
James Walsh, Marie Terrell W. O. Ball  J. A. Ball

The license was issued on the 14 day of August 1899 by P.H. Lanauzi recorder 
of Births, Marriages and deathe in the presence of the witnesses J. A. BAll  
W. W. O'Connor
