This is to Certify, That it appears from the records of this office, that on 
this day to wit: the Fifth of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand 
eight hundred and eighty One and the one hundredth and fifth of the 
Independence of the United states of America, (January 5, 1881) was registered 
a marriage, celebrated in the city of New Orleans, La. by Rev. J. C. Kramer on 
the 

30th day of December 1880 
between 

Carl Thurm aged___years, a native of  Germany, 
son of G. Thurm and Christina Thurm 

and 

Mrs. Widow Frances Degenhardt  aged___years, a native of Germany, 
daughter of Wirth and Wirth. 

The celebration of the marriage was performed in presence of the witnesses  
H.R. Gogreve, Chas.  Wm. Gogreve, Wm Gogreve.

The license was issued on the 29th day of December 1880 by E. K. Skinner, Judge 
of the first city court, in the presence of the witnesses H. R. Gogreve
J. B. McMurray
