This is to certify, That it appears from the records of this office, that on 
this day, to wit: the Eighteenth Day of March in the year of our Lord, one 
thousand eight hundred and Seventy Three and the ninety of the independence of 
the United States of America, (March 18, 1873) was registered a marriage, 
celebrated in the city of New Orleans, by Rev Th.R. Markham 
on the 

17th day of March 1873, 

between 

Adolph G. Assenheimer aged___ years a  native of Germany, 
son of Charles Assenheimer and Frederica Assenheimer 

and 

Elizabeth A. Hale aged ___years a native of Kentucky, 
daughter of Maria Hale  and Will. Hale, 

The celebration of the marriage was performed in presence of 
the witnesses  W. J. Whiteside, N. Smith
the license was issued on the 17th day of March 1873 by Hon. W. L. Evan
2nd Justice of the Peace, in presence of the witnesses
