Succession of Judge HONORE F. DEBLIEUX, Petition of Edwin Deblieux to obtain the Last Will and 
Testament of his grandfather.

New Orleans: "Honorable the Second District Court:  The petition of EDWIN DEBLIEUX , who 
resides in this city _ _ _ that HONORE F. DEBLIEUX , the grandfather of your petitioner 
who was domiciled in this city, departed this life in Bay St. Louis, Miss, where he was 
temporarily visiting on the 12th day of August 1878. Petitioner _ that he is informed and 
_ that said deceased (has) a Last Will and Testament which is contained in a tin box 
numbered 330 deposited in the Citizens Bank of this city. That petitioner is desirous of 
having this will presented for probate or _. Wherefore petitioner prays that said Citizen's 
Bank through its proper officer be ordered to produce said box _ the will contained therein. 
May be probated or ordered to be executed and _ _ _. And _ _ duly _, Edward W. _"

"Edwin Deblieux being duly sworn says that his grandfather died on Aug. 12, 1878 as alleged 
and that each and all the facts and allegations are _ as found in the foregoing petition to
this _ of _. (signed) Edwin Deblieux"

"- the President of the Citizens Band be Ordered to produce in Open Court forthwith the
Bank Box of the late H. F. DeBlieux, _ _ No. 330.  New Orleans, Sept. 4th, 1878. (signed)

"The State of Louisiana"

To all whom these presents may come-Greeting:
Whereas, Mrs. Pauline Deblieux, Widow of Honore F. Deblieux, name and appointed 
Testamentary Executrix of the last Will and Testament of Honore F. Deblieux, deceased, 
has applied to the Second District Court for the Parish of Orleans, by Petition praying 
said Court to grant Letters Testamentary therein.

Now Know Ye, that the said Mrs. Pauline Deblieux, Widow of Honore F. Deblieux, is hereby 
authorized and empowered to collect all the good and effects which were of said H. F. 
Deblieux, deceased, and to make a just inventory thereof, and all other lawful acts to 
do and perform as Testamentary Executrix of the said last Will and Testament.
Witness, our Hand and the Seal of said Court, at the City of New Orleans, this Twenty 
Ninth day of January in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight-hundred and seventy nine 
and the _ of the Independence of the United States of America. (signed A. L. Tesiot)

"State of Louisiana, Second District Court for the Parish of Orleans.  Succession of Honore 
F. Deblieux.  Before me, R. D. Hubbard, Deputy Clerk of the Second District Court for the 
Parish of Orleans, personally came and appeared Mrs. Pauline Deblieux, Widow of H. F. 
Deblieux, who solemnly swears that she will well and faithfully perform all and singular 
the duties of Testamentary Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of the late H. F.
Deblieux.

Sworn to and Subscribed before me, New Orleans, January 29, 1879, (signed) R. D. Hubbard, 
Deputy Clerk.  So Help me God, (signed) Mrs. Pauline Deblieux"

"To the _ the Second District Court for the Parish of Orleans
     The petition of Mrs. Pauline Deblieux, born Conand, Widow of Honore F. Deblieux, 
Respectfully represents That her late Husband, Honore F. Deblieux, who was domiciled 
in the City but temporarily residing in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, depart this Life 
on the 12th Day of August 1878, as appears by affidavid filed Sept. 4, 1878 in this Court, 
having a Last Will 7 Testament _ _ _ wherein petitioner is appointed Testamentary Executrix.
Petitioner now files said Will and prays thus his _ be probated, registered and _ to be 
executed.  That petitioner be confirmed Executive under said Will.  That letters be issued 
to her and thus an inventory  of all the property left by the deceased be _ by a Notary _ 
in the _ _  _ by law."
