Bishop Chabrat at Nazareth near Bardstown Kentucky) was in the Bible. In “The Muses of Point Coupee” her brother James Fort Muse II said his sisters were educated in a convent in Kentucky for 6 years. Daughter of James Fort Muse and Margaret Adelaide Bourgeat and Granddaughter of Barbe Filhiol Bourgeat and Narcisse Bourgeat, her Greatgrandfather Jean Baptiste (Don Juan) Filhiol was Commandant of Fort Miro, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Julia married Dr. Christopher Hunt Dabbs and they had two sons, James Muse Dabbs and Augustine Bourgeat Dabbs, and two daughters, Julia Adelaide Dabbs and Mary Elizabeth Dabbs. Julia Adelaide Dabbs died Sept 12, 1868, 19 yrs 3 mo 2 days. Augustine Bourgeat Dabbs lived only 2 months and 22 days. Mary Elizabeth Dabbs married Joseph S. Behen , 1876. The Bible was passed down to me from my Grandmother Julia Elizabeth Dabbs Scott of Fairbanks, Lousiiana by her son; my uncle Samuel Charles Scott. My father was her youngest son, Edward Starsney Scott. Was baptized 26th of February at St. Patricks church by the Rev. J. J. Mullen pastor of said church. J. W. Moore god-father and wife Mrs. Moore. Augustine Bourgeat Dabbs was born on the 29th January at 7 o’clock A.M. He was baptized on 10th February 1848 by the Reverend Montiens Bertia of New Orleans… Julia Ddelaide Dabbs was born on the 17th of June 1849 at 4 o’clock P.M. in Monroe. Julia Adelaide was baptized on the 28th May 1850 in St. Patricks church by Rev. J. J. Mullen pastor. Her godfather Rev. J. Flanagan godmother Miss Donovan Mary Elizabeth Dabbs was born 27th January 1854 at 4 o’clock P.M. Monroe, Louisiana. Baptized Easter Sunday 15th April 1854 by Rev. Flanagan St Patricks Church N. O. God mother M. A. Muse godfather James M. Dabbs. Born on the 22nd Aug 1859 Julia Elizabeth daughter of James Muse Dabbs and Mary Olivia Collet at the residence of Mr. Byrd Miller Bayou deSiard. Baptiised by Father Gergaud. James Christopher son of J. M. Dabbs and Olivia Collett was born (blank) 1872 in Monroe. Lived only 4 hours Received private baptism. In Monroe, Ouachita Parish, La. , on 29th March, 1868 Dr. Christopher Hunt Dabbs Age 63 years 4 mo. 4 days. In Monroe, La. On the 12th September 1868 Julia Adelaide Dabbs aged 19 yrs 3 mos 2 days. In Monroe, February 15th at 7 o’clock P.M. 1876 James Muse Dabbs aged 30 yrs 2 months and 6 days. On Port Union plantation Union Parish October 15th 1892 Mary Olivia wife of J. M. Dabbs aged 42 years 5 months and 18 days. In Monroe, La. September 21st 1896 Samuel Charles infant son of S. C. and Julia E. Scott age 15 months and 6 days. In Monroe, La. March 24, 1900, Mary Adelia, eldest daughter of Samuel Charles and Julia E. Scotrt age 10 years 2 months and 5 days. In Monroe, La. May 19th, 1900, Mathias Grady son of Samuel Charles and Julia E. Scott age 1 yr 17 months and 11 days. In Mer Rouge, La. November 23, 1907 Muse Dabbs Scott age 2 yrs 4 mos and 17 days. In Mer Rouge, La. Jan 2, 1911 Margaret Virginia Scott age 15 years 6 months 11 days. In St. Frances Sanitarium, Monroe, Dec 15, 1928 Samuel Charles Scott, Sr. husband of Julia Dabbs Scott Age 66 yrs. Born Aug. 18, 1862. Died Dec 15, 1928. Buried St. Matthews Cemetary. In Fairbanks, La. At the home of her son, Starsney Scott, Julia Dabbs Scott, wife of Samuel Charles Scott, Sr, Thursday, Nov. 3, 1949 7 A.M. Age 80. Burried St. Matthews Cemetery Nov 4 First Friday. Born Aug. 22, 1869 – Died Nov. 3, 1949 Mary Olivia Scott - age 62. Born Dec. 28, 1892. Passed away about 5:15 A.M. in hospital at Newellton. Coronary Occlusion – Feb. 24th 1955. Buried in St Matthews cemetery between Margaret Scott and her father Samuel Scott Feb 25, 1955. Marriages: Married the 3rd March 1845 in the parish of Catahoula by the Hon S. G. Tallieferro of Catahoula Dr. C. H. Dabbs of Monroe, Ouachita to Miss Julia W. second daughter of James F. Muse Esq deceased of the Parish of Point Coupee La. Married over in the Catholic Faith 1851 by Rev. P. Canavan Missionary. Married on the 14th January 1867 at Residence of A. W. Sanford J. Muse Dabbs to Mary Olivia Collett by Rev. J. Gentille. In Monroe on 12th February 1876 at St. Mathews Church by Very Rev. S. Emanuel pastor Mr. Joseph S. Behen and Miss Mary E. Dabbs both of Monroe. In Monroe on 4th March 1889 Samuel C. Scott and Julia E. Dabbs were united in wedlock by Rev. L. Enaut in his parlor.
