Gentlemen: - 

     I wish to announce to you the death of Mrs. C. E. Smith, who has been on the 
state pension roll for a number of years.  I enclose the death certificate of the attending
physician, Dr. Robt. W. Faulk.  Her death occured March 22nd, 1922.  The funeral ex-
penses remain unpaid, as also her Doctor's bill.  This will amount to about $200.00.
I am giving you this information so that you will prorate the pension due her April 1st.,
and make it out up to March 22nd.  She has left nothing with which to defray the ex-
penses noted above.
