I am well and have been ever since you saw me. I would like to have a letter from you to no wheather you are [illegible] how you are getting along and where you are staying and how Oscar and Byren is. I am veary anxious to see you and the children. I was at Mr. Falk's last September. They was all well.Margritt had been a little unwell but was getting better. They were veary uneasy but had not lost any thing yet. I heard from you last fall by a friend from __________. I have written to you several times ________ received no answer. I can't say what I wanted to you. I have plenty of money. I would like if you had it for I no you need it. Tell R.H. to write to me. The health of the army is veary good and in fine spirits. I am still with Maj. J.H. Fink, QM for Gen. Drayton's Briggade, Price's Division. Give my love to all my friends. Kiss Oscar and Byren for me. I must close.
