Section Foreman on the Louisiana Central, Shot. Columbia, La., Aug. 8.-It has just been reported here that Dr. B.S. Fluitt, a prominent physician of the Ninth Ward of this parish, shot a man by the name of Connelly at 1 o'clock this afternoon. The details of the affair are meager and it is not definitely known what the trouble was between the two men. Connelly was a section foreman employed by the Louisiana Central company of Clarks, this parish, on a team road which that company is building through the western portion of this parish, and is said to have boarded at one time with Dr. Fluitt. Late this afternoon the news came that Connelly was dead. An order for a coffin to be delivered in that vicinity seems to confirm the reports as to the results of the shooting. # # #
