Miss Carrie Hill, the young lady who recently jumped from the Sanitarium window here while mentally deranged, died this morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Asylum at Pineville, where she was taken for treatment. At the time of her injury here it was thought she only received a broken limb but after her removal to Pineville it developed she was injured internally from which she died this morning. The remains will be brought to Monroe, thence to her home at Sterlington. Note: An account of the accident can be found in the Thursday, October 6, 1910 edition of the News-Star on page 2, column 2. A brother, J.S. Hill, is mentioned as being her caretaker. # # #
