"I am going to shoot you," were the words of Ed Reed, 10 years old, as he raised his father's shot gun and took aim at the little Sewell girl, 7 years old. He pulled the trigger, the gun fired and sure enough the little girl dropped dead with her head shot off. The deplorable tragedy happened yesterday at the home of the boy's father at Oliver station, on the A., L. & G. road. After an investigation the officers decided that the boy intended no harm to the little girl, but was playing with her, with no idea of causing her death. All of the parties concerned are negroes. # # #
