Ruston, La., Dec. 19.-This afternoon about 4:30 o'clock a young negro boy named Homer Scott, was killed in the Rock Island yards here. The boy had been jumping on and off a freight engine working in the yard near his home, when he missed (his) footing and fell underneath. Both legs were cut off near the body and he lived but a short time after the accident. # # #
