 During the early part of this week a shooting affair occurred east of this
place between Mr. Byus and Mr. McElroy.  The latter was killed.  Mr. M. a
few weeks since ran away with and married the daughter of Mr. Byus, whose
son did the shooting.  It is supposed that the difficulty originated about
the stolen daughter.                 Mansfield Times.
