  A jury of inquest has been convened by Dr. McCormick to investigate the
cause of the death of Patrick Hayden, who was found dead last week near
Grant's store on the Bastrop road.  No verdict has been rendered, but the
evidence taken so far does not associate any one criminally with Hayden's
death.
