A poor German woman, whose husband recently died in New York, and who has been an inmate of Mr. Schultz's house for some time, was found dead in Gen. Pargoud's plantation on Friday of last week, having been gone three days. The day she left she procured five grains of morphine, and near her remains was found a razor and on her left wrist two or three cuts, one reaching the artery. She had previously attempted to drown herself in the river, but was prevented. These circumstances influenced a jury of inquest to return a verdict of suicide. Deceased's name was Glinda Koltzau. # # #
