He had been in Monroe but a few days, and had been drinking immoderately. Friday night he was permitted to sleep in Lignoski's warehouse. During the night he entered the store and procured two bottles of () bottle of port wine. He drank all the wine and about three-fourths of the brandy. — When found, he was in a stooping posture, hanging by one arm, which had been caught in the railing surrounding Flanagan's watch stand, and was so near dead that no means of resuscitation could prevent his death shortly after. Deceased was a printer, and claimed to have recently come from California. His remains were decently interred in the Cemetery. # # #
