He hails from the State of Ohio, and intended to return in a few days. It is supposed he was drinking at the time. He came down from Careyville, Union County, Arkansas, on J.L. Brinker's raft. He told our informant a few days before, that he was over 40 years of age. He was a large stout man — his hair was dark, a little sprinkled with grey; whiskers sandy, blue eyes. We state these facts for the benefit of his family, wherever they may be. # # #
