A negro named Tom Creecy, had his face sawed in two, on Wednesday, at Gerspach's saw mill. He was shoveling saw dust from beneath the saw, and by some chance was thrown on the saw, the teeth striking his face, splitting his nose, tearing out an eye, and parting his jaw bone at the mouth.
