 In the case of the State vs. Howard, charged with killing Dow Shelton,
a negro caught in a stable at Capt. Crosley's bridle in hand and who in
attempting to escape was shot by Howard, Judge Baker bound the accused
over to await the action of the Grand Jury, at the same time saying he
thought it doubtful if a bill would be found.
