 Mr. James Williams, a young and industrious farmer of ward 6, was killed on
Saturday last from buck-shot wounds received from a gun in the hands of
Norman Dawkins.  From what we are able to gather from circumstances
surrounding the killing it appears that this was a brutal and unprovoked
murder.  However we withhold further comment until after the preliminary
examination of Dawkins. – Sparta Times.
