            In a difficulty at the Houston central Arkansas and Northern Railroad camps about 
ten miles below the city on the night of the 17th between Jim Cook and Jim Hal, both negroes, 
Hal stabbed Cook in the back, the wound penetrating the lungs and proving fatal.  Cook died 
Wednesday morning.  Hal escaped.
