Leath, hailing from Terrel, Texas, for some time past employed on the H.C.A. & N.R.R., and a carpenter by trade, was injured about the head some three weeks ago by falling from a trestle, resulting in his death at the Smith House in this city Wednesday morning. His remains were forwarded by express by Wednesday evening's train to his brother Mr. John W. Leath, at Terrell. The physician's certificate was that he died of congestion of the brain. # # #
