Hon. J. B. Boatner of Catahoula is the youngest member of the

State Senate.  

He is 34.  Ouachita's Senator, John B. Boatner is one of the

handsomest member of that body.  He is a candidate for Circuit 

Judge and aspires to the seat of Judge Clinton, whose successor 

will be elected by the present legislature.

Joseph W. Hyums, editor of the East Baton Rouge Sugar Planter, is

the youngest member of the legislature, being only 23 years old.
