H. BUBB PASSES YESTERDAY AFTER ILLNESS OF WEEK, Dies at 3 oÆclock yesterday At Local Sanitarium of Ulcer of Stomach Was Identified With Progressive Activities in Oil Industry Here Albert H. Bubb, 38, vice-president of the H. A. Bubb Corporation of this city, died at a local sanitarium at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon after a WeekÆs illness from an ulcer of his stomach. He had been active in his business interests in the city up to the time he was taken to the hospital for treatment last Sunday afternoon. His death yesterday produced a distinct shock throughout the city among his large circle of friends and associates in this city and the state, where he had been identified with progressive Activities in the oil and gas industry as well that of carbon black manufacture for the past four years. Mr. Bubb was the son of the late N. Burrows Bubb of Williamsport, Pa., one of the most prominent figures, in the wholesale drug and chemical business of the east. He came to Monroe from Williamsport four years to engage with his brother, H, A. Bubb in the management of the Bubb Corporation. He was a brother of George R. Bubb treasurer of the Columbian Gasoline corporation. He received his education at Williamsport and Lawrenceburg. N. J. later joining his father in the wholesale drug business. He was married at Philadelphia In September 1914, to Miss Florence Hill of Williamsport. Five Children were born of the union all of whom survive. They are, George L., Walter, Margaret, Albert A., Jr., and H. Burrows, 3rd. Four brothers also survive; H. A. Bubb, Monroe; George L. Bubb, New York, N. B. Bubb, Jr., and James L. Bubb of Williamsport. Mr. Bubb was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was also prominent in the Masonic order and the Knights Templar. Funeral services will be held at 4 oÆclock this afternoon at the family home 1603 St. John Drive, Rev Ernest Holloway, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Following the services the body will be taken to Williamsport, PA., where internment will be made. The funeral party will leave Monroe over the Illinois Central at 7:10 oÆclock tonight. # # #
