CHARLES ACREE

Charles "Shot" Acree, 51, passed away February 28, 2014, in Point, La. He is 
preceded in death by his father, James Acree, and sister, Barbara Greene. Shot 
was born on August 1, 1962, in Monroe, La. Those who knew him, knew of his 
love for fishing. Survivors include wife, Donna Acree; children, Christy, 
Chris, and Kayla Acree; granddaughters, Madelyn and Alexis; mother, Bonnie M. 
Acree; brothers, Benny, David, and Ike; sisters, Beth, Judy, and Carolyn; and 
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation is Monday, March 3, 
2014, from 5-8 pm at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. Funeral services 
will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Wilhite 
Cemetery in Point, La. There is peace to the family in knowing that now, 
Shot's gone fishing.
