Rusty Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Adcock passed away due to a long illness, Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at his daughter's residence in Oklahoma. Mr. Adcock was a veteran of the Air Force for 20 years. He worked in the medical field as a lab tech until the age of 65, retired, and began working as a caregiver. Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Mary Ann Adcock; father, Elmer Thomas Adcock; his mother, Jessie Beatrice Turner Adcock; and two brothers, Herschel Adcock and Harry Adcock. Survivors include his children, Rusty and Stephanie Vaughan, of Monroe, LA; Tilford and Janet Carter, of Aline, OK; Carl Adcock and fiancé, Jeanette Wynn; and James Adcock, Jr., and fiancé Benee Vallery; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe.
