Jack Sawyer officiating. Interment will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Alexandria, under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Patricia Auten Aderhold passed away, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at her home in Alexandria. Patricia, 83, was born on June 6, 1926, in Little Rock, AR, to Judge Lawrence C. Auten and Thelma Hamman Auten, She attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans, School of Nursing, 1947. Patricia was a member of Pineville Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Rapides Parish Medical Society Auxillary and the Four Season's Garden Club. Patricia was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dr. Wallace R. Aderhold; her parents; son, Wallace R. Aderhold, Jr.; and sister, Gloria Auten Troutman. Patricia is survived by her three children, Lawrence C. Aderhold of Baton Rouge, Tricia A. Jackson and husband, Al of Montgomery, AL, and Kathleen Reeves and husband, David L. of West Monroe, LA; four grandchildren, Julia E. Jackson of Austin, TX, T. Christopher Jackson of Dallas, TX, David M. Reeves of Baton Rouge, Mark A. Reeves of Columbia, MO; and her niece, Lynn Troutman Meyers of Centralia, MO. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday and from 2:00 PM Sunday until time of service. Pallbearers will be son in law, David L. Reeves and grandsons, T. Christopher Jackson, David M. Reeves and Mark A. Reeves. The family wishes to extend their most sincere appreciation to Dr. Bruce Barton, Dr. Wesley Davis, the staff of Rapides Regional Medical Center, Synergy Home Health Care and Journey Hospice. Special thanks is also extended to her sitters: Bootsie, Ora, Barbara and Dell.
