BARBARA JEAN AKEROYD

Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Memorial services for Barbara Jean Akeroyd, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 
P.M. Sunday, October 19, 2008, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating.

Mrs. Akeroyd was born October 26, 1931 in Kansas City, MO., to Mortimer John 
Smith and Wilma Lou Alice Williams. Barbara died peacefully after a valiant 
battle with congestive heart and kidney failure on October 13, 2008.

Survivors include her two daughters, Victoria Susan Golmon, and Rebecca Lynne 
Deal and husband Lynn; her son, Charles Richard Akeroyd and wife Susan Harris 
Akeroyd; 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
