DENNIS RAY ALFORD

Love, Laugh, and Ride a Horse

Dennis Ray Alford of West Monroe, LA was born on September 2, 1957 and passed 
away on May 3, 2012. A Farrier, Horse Trainer and Breeder

A funeral service will be at 10a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Frantom Chapel 
Baptist Church in Eros, LA. Visitation will be 5-8p.m. Monday evening at 
Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Burial will follow services at 
Chatham Cemetery in Chatham, LA.

Dennis is preceded in death by father, Jimmy L. Alford and mother, Vera Ruth 
Baker, sister, Jerry Ruth Costin, brother-in-law, Calvin Lee Costin.

He is survived by wife Kim Alford; momma Carolyn Alford and Special friend 
Stacy Myers; daughters, Rebecca Kathleen Leatherwood and husband David, Regina 
Sue Barmore and James McClain and Son Andrew ; Amanda McManus and husband 
Brian;Jessica McCarty and Brian Millwood and Children, Kaitlyn and Kyleigh; 
son, Wesley Booth; special nieces, Marissa McCarty and Ryan Hayes and Renee 
Costin and special great-niece Nicole Atkins and husband Jerred (Henry); 
brothers, Jeff Alford;Ricky Alford; Douglas Alford; sisters Vicki Alford and 
Joyce Alford; grandchildren, Emily and Caleb McManus; Kaitlyn McClain and Quin 
Leatherwood; Jessa Wink, who loved their "Pappy"; Trusted side-kicks Peanut 
and Scotter Daniel. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of 
family and friends

Pallbearers will be Jerred (Henry) Atkins, Butch Murray, Larry Deville, Bill 
Thomas, L.V. Kane, Mike Wilson
