THOMAS RAY ALLEN

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Ray Allen of Calhoun, LA will be 2:00pm 
Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Living Way Apostolic Church in West Monroe, LA 
with Rev. Nathan Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at Greater 
Apostolic Church Cemetery in Chatham, LA under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm 
Friday, April 7, 2017 at the church.

Mr. Allen was born September 16, 1973 in West Monroe, LA and passed from 
this life in a traffic accident on April 5, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the 
age of 43. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Breck 
Construction. He was a beloved father, husband and son. He loved to go to 
church and spend time with his family. Ray's hobbies were hunting and 
fishing. He was a very dedicated hard worker with anything he had to do in 
life. He will be loved forever and missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Thomas and Minnie Allen 
and Alfred and Vernice Caples.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Allen; two children, Cheyenne Allen and 
husband Spencer of West Monroe and Lindsey Jordan of Calhoun; his parents, 
Wayne and Peggy Allen of West Monroe; one sister, Tammy Spillers and husband 
James Bubba Spillers of West Monroe; two brothers, Jody Allen and Timothy 
Allen both of West Monroe; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, 
extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Ebey, Cody Ebey, Daigo Ebey, Chess Hill, James 
Mims and Jimmy Jones.
