GARLAND EMORY ALLISON


Garland Emory Allison, Sr., 87, of Texarkana, Texas, went to be with his 
Heavenly Father on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013. He was born June 28, 1925 in Hodge, 
La. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jean Allison. He is 
survived by his wife: Barbara Allison of Texarkana, Texas; one son, 
Garland "Chip" Allison, Jr., Redwater, Texas, three daughters: Tommy Freeman, 
Monroe, La., Patricia Smith, Longview, Texas and Georgette Duke, Linden, 
Texas; one stepdaughter Jacqueline Sailor, one stepson: Raymond Kososki, seven 
grandchildren: eight great-grandchildren, two step-grandsons.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A. M. Wednesday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of 
Chapelwood Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at Chapelwood Funeral Home 
Chapel Tuesday, evening at 7:00 P. M. The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P. M.
