ANDERSON Patrick Henry Anderson, Jr. Van Buren, MO - Funeral services for Patrick Henry Anderson, Jr., age 59, of Van Buren, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe located at 1321 North 7th. Dr. Mark Fenn will officiate. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. He succumbed unexpectedly to a heart attack. Pat was the first born to Patrick Henry Anderson, Sr, and his wife, the late John Ann Painich. He is survived by his dad and stepmother, Martha Jane Anderson, both of Monroe; sister, Jackie Anderson Guillot and husband, Ricky of West Monroe; brother, Baron Max Anderson, and wife Kim of Ruston. He is also survived by two sons, Patrick H. Anderson, III, and his son, Noah; and son, Ryan Scott Anderson, all of Lake Charles, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat had a heart for his neighbors and friends and always had a sparkle in his eyes. He was known for his jolly laughter and long vivid stories. He could make us laugh with just his mannerisms and smirked smile. He enjoyed traveling to the different pharmacies where he worked and dearly loved the people who came in to visit and say hello. While living in the small town of Van Buren, Pat made special friends of whom none could have been better than Dale and Donna Kipp. The family thanks you both so much for being his extended family away from home. Pat's keen knowledge of the outdoors took him camping in many places. There wasn't a fishing hole that he didn't try. He was known in Van Buren as the guy from Louisiana with the fiber glass boat. Pat loved ULM and the West Monroe Rebels and he still listened to the games. He earned two degrees from ULM, one in accounting and one in Pharmacy. He led his class in Pharmacy as well as being president of the Pharmacy honorary fraternity. We are certain there was a grand reunion in heaven with his mom, John Ann. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Henderson, Matt Shepherd, Eric Middleton, Charles McCain, Rick Guillot, Jordan Guillot, Charles Van Zile, and Willie Painich. The family requests that any memorials be made to ULM 's School of Pharmacy, 1800 Bienville Drive, Monroe, La. 71201. Online sympathy maybe expressed to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
